You end up looking like this!!!! Obviously Batman ignored his mommy's reminder to stay on the grass when Emmy is riding!!:) I heard the screaming and went running out to find Matthew carrying her up the driveway to find me. It is hard to see how bad it really looks in this picture! She definitely hit the concrete head first and then scraped her cheek. Will she survive her brothers??? We'll see!?!?!:)

"Who Is That Masked Woman?"
This morning I heard the boys talking to someone out in the family room and I walked out to see this "thing" talking to them!!! Emilee started CRYING and running for me!!! We LOVE Aunt Sarah!!!!!!!! Never do know when or where she will show up and what she will have when she comes! She brought this for the boys. It was used in the space themed VBS for Ben's church. Of course, a fight ensued on who got to use it. It distorts your voice and sounds very cool! Emilee didn't think it was too cool!:) We are so glad Sarah is home for the week and then she will be off to China! We miss her so much....the time with her is never quite long enough. We are thrilled at what and WHO :) God has for her there this summer and in the future. What a blessing she is to us and we know she will be to those she works with over there. LOVE YOU, SARAH!!!!
Driveway Camping
These pictures are especially for my sister since she hasn't seen our pop up trailer. We bought it at the end of summer last year so we really never got to use it. This past weekend Scott set it up in our driveway and then he and the boys camped out both Friday and Saturday nights. It was so fun to see everything set up. Saturday afternoon we went shopping at the dollar store to stock the trailer for our trips this summer. What fun!! It was kinda like setting up house again!:) I am not a true camper and never claim to be, but I figure with 3 boys and a husband who grew up camping and LOVES it....I had better get into it! The pop up was a nice compromise to tenting!! We are really looking forward to going to MN and camping at Mom and Dad's campground and then a couple times around here with friends. By the way, it rained ALL weekend and we never got a leak so that was GOOD news!!

Poor Teddy!
The boys were digging out these large stuffed animals in the closet today and found this teddy bear. It was a baby gift from a friend when Andrew was born, which makes it nine years old! It sat on the rocker in his teddy bear nursery. OK, I am getting a little nostalgic!:) Anyways, when they showed it to Luke he said, "His face is broken!" When we asked him what was wrong he said, "His smile is gone!!!" We laughed so hard!! Thought I would share our funny for the day! Well.....there was another funnier funny by LUKE but it is not appropriate to share publicly!:) Aunt Sarah would NOT be impressed!

Water Fun with Friends
A few days ago we went to a little town not too far from here where they put in a free sprinkler park. It is nice and clean and kids of all ages can enjoy it. About five moms from church and our kiddies packed lunches and went to get wet! I forgot my camera so my friend let me borrow hers and snap a few shots. Yes, Luke was with us, but for some reason he didn't get in any of the pictures!:) Sorry they are so small. This is how they were emailed to me.

Smores and Popsicles!
Isn't summer fun?? Not just the extra free time, looser schedules, warm weather, but also the fun foods of summertime!!! Besides all the yummy fresh fruit, popsicles and smores are right at the top of the list! The other night our good friends and neighbors, Mark and Lisa, invited our family over to roast marshmallows. Luke's smore was quite messy and he enjoyed every little bit of it!! And the other fun food Emilee has recently discovered is popsicles! She got so excited she kept signing "please" over and over again! She doesn't always sign it, but we usually get some noise that we know means please. She just REALLY wanted more popsicle. She kept smacking her lips and coming back for more!!:)

25th Ministry Anniversary at GBC
Last night we gave honor to whom honor is due. Scott's mom and dad celebrated 25 years of ministry at Grace Baptist Church. All five siblings were able to attend. It was a wonderful day! The grandchildren sang and then all five kids and spouses sang as well. Ben's wife, Dayna, was unable to attend because of being on bed rest with baby #2. We missed her very much!! Ben preached an awesome message and several awards were presented to Scott's dad. Afterwards, there was a reception and several gave testimonies. All the planning payed off! It was one of those days like your wedding where you look back and wouldn't change one thing about it! Congratulations, mom and dad, we love you and are continually blessed by your example of faithfulness to God and His ministry!

Pool Time
Yesterday was VERY hot so we pulled out the water table and the kiddie pool. Emilee was in heaven!! She went from one thing to the other-filling, dumping, pouring, stepping in and stepping out!! What fun! After all these boys and swim trunks, it is so fun to watch a little girl in a bathing suit prance around with her tummy bulging out!!:)
